2025 United Way Grant Applications are now closed!

Our Grant Applications are now under review. Be on the lookout for our grant announcements in early April of 2025.

What We’re Looking For: We invite nonprofit organizations in Howard and Tipton Counties to apply for programs and/or projects that promote the Mission of United Way. This is an incredible opportunity to receive financial support for programs and projects that aim to make a positive impact in our community.

United Way Mission Statement: United Way Serving Howard and Tipton Counties brings our community together to provide advocacy, service, and giving opportunities to empower all people with health, education, and financial stability.

Grant Details:

  • Funding: Amount varies based on the scope and needs of the project/program.

  • Eligibility & Guidelines:

    • All non-profits in Howard and Tipton Counties are encouraged to apply.

    • No partial funding will be awarded.

    • No back-funding for programs/projects that occur prior to the announcement of awarded grants (April 2025).

    • If funding is awarded, nonprofit organizations are required to provide a report to United Way Serving Howard and Tipton Counties with updates of the program/project.

*More details regarding reporting will be included in grant agreements for awarded organizations.

  • Application Process: Visit howardandtiptonunitedway.org on or after January 1st to complete your Letter of Intent. The Letter of Intent will request details of your organization and a summary, total cost & requested funding for the program/project. After your Letter of Intent is reviewed, you will be contacted by United Way Director of Community Impact and Engagement, Morgan Quinn, with next steps.

    • Grant Recipients will be announced April 2025.
